JOB DESCRIPTION

At Interplay we invest, coach and cofound companies.

 

We’re looking for a hotshot to join us as a Board Partner. This person will assume a handful of board positions within our portfolio. These aren’t the sleepy types of board roles where board members just mindlessly check in. This board member will be helping to drive the companies forward through coaching and strategic insight. It’s the right role for a veteran builder who wants to leverage their experience across more than one company.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Work directly with CEOs and relevant management team members to drive growth, create blossoming cultures and create beautiful products and services.
  • Meet with each CEO weekly for an informal catch up and monthly for a slightly more formal board meeting.
  • Identify solutions, generate creative solutions and unlock opportunities.

  • A Swiss army knife who can handle a multitude of different responsibilities.
  • You are organized.
  • You have experience managing timelines and are able to organize information into plans.
  • You have a creative mindset and can generate innovative ideas for event sand marketing campaigns, always staying ahead of industry trends.
  • You are a proactive problem solver, capable of identifying potential issues and providing timely solutions.
  • You are a team player with excellent interpersonal skills, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and building strong relationships.
  • You are highly organized, capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality and professionalism.
  • You are tech-savvy and comfortable working with various software and tools related to marketing, event planning, content creation, and data management.
  • A person who gets things done, finds a way around walls and pursues excellence.
  • Someone who has already had a successful entrepreneurial experience.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • High EQ.
  • Operating knowledge.
  • Previous experience as CEO for a start-up or high growth company.
